Privacy Policy

Effective October 5, 2026. A plain-language website privacy policy written by volunteers. It was not drafted by a lawyer.

The Condominium Owners Network (“CON”, “we”) is a volunteer group of condo owners in Ontario. We try to collect only what we need, use it only for the reasons below, and handle it in line with Canadian privacy principles.

What we collect

We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. The site sets one short-lived security cookie (csrf) to protect the forms. Cloudflare Turnstile, our anti-bot check, processes limited browser and device signals to tell people from bots.

How we use it

Who processes it

The site and its database run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1). Cloudflare may process data in Canada, the United States or other countries. Apart from LDDC (sign-ups, with your consent) and the service providers that run the site, only CON volunteers who need the information to coordinate or reply have access. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete it. Subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe.
