Website Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026. These are plain-language website terms written by volunteers. They were not drafted by a lawyer.

1. Who we are

The Condominium Owners Network (“CON”, “we”) is a volunteer group of condominium unit owners in Ontario who share information and coordinate with one another. CON is not a corporation, a law firm or a professional advisor. You can reach us at owners@condoownersnetwork.com.

2. Not legal advice

Everything on condoownersnetwork.com is general information only. It is not legal, financial or professional advice, and using this site, contacting us or signing up does not create a lawyer–client or any other professional relationship with CON or its volunteers. For advice about your situation, consult a lawyer.

3. LDDC sign-up is an expression of interest

The LDDC sign-up form collects expressions of interest from owners who may want to jointly engage condominium counsel (Levitt Di Lella Duggan & Chaplick LLP). Submitting it is not a retainer and does not bind you or LDDC. Any retainer would be a separate agreement made directly between you and LDDC, on LDDC’s terms, before anything is owed. CON is not a party to that relationship and only helps coordinate.

4. Accuracy of information

Building details come from public sources such as the CAO registry, and from owners. They may be incomplete or out of date. Please check official sources before relying on them, and tell us about errors through our contact form.

5. Your submissions

When you use our forms, please give accurate information about yourself and only submit someone else’s information if you are authorized to do so. Do not use the site to send spam, abusive or unlawful content, or to interfere with its security. We may ignore or delete submissions that break these terms. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party links

We link to government sites, registries, LDDC, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and X. We don’t control those services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, CON and its volunteers are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, reliance on its content, or decisions you make, including about legal services.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above will change when we do.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
